Speakers at SOAR Summit Scotland

I AM TANIA STAPP

I AM JULIE LOVE
"I am driven by a deep passion for helping people reclaim their strength and resilience in the face of adversity. There’s something truly profound about witnessing someone discover their inner power—the moment they realise their story matters, their voice deserves to be heard, and their worth is beyond measure. I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where people can explore their experiences, unearth their value, and embrace their potential without fear or judgement."
My adult life has been dedicated to roles that care, nurture, empower, and uplift others. From growing my family, to supporting individuals across diverse ages, cultures, and backgrounds, I’ve learned that our most profound strengths often emerge during life’s darkest moments. My own journey through adversity has shaped me, giving me the ability to connect with people not just through words, but by truly understanding what lies beneath them; the emotions, the silences, and the unspoken truths.
Psychology label this hyper-vigilance; I call it a gift. It’s not a label, a weakness or a flaw but a superpower, a way to tune in, to empathise, and to walk alongside someone as they navigate their own challenges. My passion lies in helping others see that their vulnerabilities can be the source of their greatest strength and guiding them as they transform their pain into purpose. It was at the SOAR Summit in March 2024, under the encouragement of Tania Stapp, that I found the courage to step fully into my purpose.
That moment of clarity led me to pivot from my role as a social worker to start my own business, focusing on Purposeful Resilience and Recovery. This isn’t just a business for me, it’s my calling. It’s about creating a safe haven for those who feel lost in their struggles, helping them rediscover their worth, and walking with them as they take back their power.
The journey has been incredible so far. I’ve been learning, growing, and seeing firsthand the impact of this work, from coaching one-to-one, using a 4-stage Empowerment Framework I created, to running online group courses. However, the most rewarding part of my work is witnessing the transformation in those I support, watching them shift from feeling powerless to recognising their own potential, and seeing them take those first steps toward a brighter future holds such meaning. And now it feels truly special, to have this incredible opportunity to co-host a SOAR Summit with Tania Stapp our founder, a woman who I love dearly, and admire greatly for her lifetime of dedication to others, her tenacity, strength and resilience. I feel very honoured to part of the SOAR Summit Team.
“Julie has such a superpower of reaching people. She is so gifted with the empathy, understanding and ability to know exactly what each individual person needs and empowers them with the belief they can do anything. She holds them in a safe space to express themselves, meeting them where they are in life to rebuilding the recovery and rise up from there. Julie is the perfect addition to SOAR Summit – Unlock your Power Within. She will use everything in her 28 years of experience and expertise to empower others to be their own inspiration by understanding adversities and vulnerabilities are actually super strengths, she will help them unlock their power within. Such value for everyone...” Tania (Europe)
“I really enjoyed working with Julie on the 4-week course. I learned so much about myself; things that I didn’t know about myself! I’ve learned to deal with my anxieties and can now cope with certain situations better than I have done for a long time. We had some fun on our 1:1 coaching call but what I learned in 4 weeks has been nothing short of incredible and I will be forever grateful to Julie for teaching me how to deal with the things in life that cause me the most stress.” Angie (Scotland)

In this session, Anne will share her journey from humble beginnings to Managing Director; the obstacles she turned to stepping stones and how you too can lead with heart: confidence, resilience, and success on your own journeys.
"Growing up in a Glasgow housing scheme with a loving family but amidst challenges such as financial strain, violence, and trauma, I learned early on the power of resilience, empathy, and self-preservation. While life was not always easy, these experiences shaped the empathetic leader and determined individual I am today. Through adversity, I discovered my natural ability to connect with people, listen without judgment, and help alleviate their burdens, even if only for a moment.
Now as Managing Director overseeing three businesses, a role I earned through commitment, hard work, and a determination to uplift others and to create success. My leadership journey
began in HR, where I discovered a passion for building strong relationships, empowering teams, and creating systems that drive success. Over the years, I’ve worked my way up, driven by a core belief: that people are the heart of every business, and when we invest in others, we all thrive.
Home is my sanctuary—a beautiful farmhouse where I live with my husband and daughter. It’s a place that reminds me to cherish life’s simple joys. My 19-year-old daughter, Amy, is my greatest inspiration. Watching her grow into a strong, independent woman is one of my greatest joys. When she told me, “I want to be like you when I grow up,” it validated every sacrifice, every long day, and every challenge I faced to build a life of purpose and success with the support of my husband who is an amazing support. Amy’s words
remind me daily of the importance of setting an example of resilience, kindness, and determination—not just for her but for anyone striving to achieve their dreams.
Through my story at SOAR Summit Scotland, I want to empower others to:
I firmly believe that life’s obstacles are stepping stones to greatness, and with determination, resilience, and belief in yourself, you can achieve almost anything. I hope to inspire you to embrace who you are, overcome challenges, and unlock the potential already
within you.
Believe in yourself. Your dreams are valid, and your determination is your greatest strength. Let me show you that no matter where you start, you have the strength and determination to rise and lead your own life with heart and purpose."
"Beyond being a lifelong friend, Anne is undoubtedly an inspiration in countless ways. Our journey together spans over 36 years, from growing up, side by side, and attending the same primary and secondary schools to working in the same companies and sharing a passion for HR. Now, I have the privilege of working for her, witnessing firsthand the depth of her leadership and the compassion that defines her approach to everything she does. In a world where true listeners are rare, Anne stands out as someone who doesn’t just hear but actively engages, offering empathy, insight, and unwavering support. Anne has the ability to connect with people, making her not only an exceptional leader but also an extraordinary human being and I am thankful to be part of her journey." (Frances Kwok, Scotland)

In this session Enett will share with you her ‘I AM…’ Story of SOAR; one that spans 30+ years of such strength, courage, resilience and how her personal life story turned into her mission, passion and business which now helps others gain the confidence from the inside out and how your own story can do that too.

In this session, Jo will share the power of losing the labels to become the greatest version of yourself. She will show you that your greatest strength comes not from standing tall but from adapting, being solution-focused, pivoting & learning to get back up no matter what.
A Sales, Marketing, and Branding Queen who thrives on the
art of the rise. Life has a way of knocking us down, pushing us into corners we never imagined, leaving us questioning if we’ll ever stand again. But it is in those moments—when the world feels heaviest—that we find the fire within ourselves to rise higher than ever before. This is my story.
I’ve been on a journey to create my dream—a bed-and-breakfast here in the heart of Italy. But that dream has been met with
endless delays, forcing me to wait through some of the most
challenging moments of my life. At my lowest, when hope seemed so distant, I didn’t give up. Instead, I dug deep, took every ounce of pain and uncertainty, and transformed it into something extraordinary.
In those quiet moments of struggle, I had to adapt, change,
pivot, and find a new path (for now), so I built something beautiful. I created La Belle Sabbioneta Wines, Cup of Jo’s Coffee, La Belle Sabbioneta Gourmet Olive Oil and Red Wine Vinegar, Momma Jo’s Pasta and Sauce, Holy Water Gin, Union Jack Gin, Royal Scotsman Vodka, and so much more. I took ordinary ideas and elevated them into extraordinary brands, pouring my heart, passion, and creativity into every detail. I didn’t just create products—I created an empire of resilience, each brand a testament to the power of never giving up.
Last year, I had the great honor of attending Tania’s SOAR
Summit Algarve – Unlock the Power Within’ Portugal. I was so excited to attend. Those experiences were nothing short of transformational. They taught me that being stuck is temporary, but your dreams are limitless. Every step of my journey has reinforced this truth: you already have everything within you to create the life you’ve imagined. I was engulfed in people believing in me, my
greatest cheerleaders and I flew back to Italy with a reinforced belief, a new empowerment and a recharged energy to keep moving forward with my dreams and actions.
My passion isn’t just about building my own brands—it’s
about helping others realize their own potential. You are your brand, even before you bring it to life. I want to inspire you to rise, no matter how many times life knocks you down. Because the truth is, your greatest strength comes not from standing tall but from adapting, being solution-focused, pivoting and learning to get back up no matter what.
And so, I leave you with this quote from my favorite book-
Jonathan Livingston Seagull: “Why fly only so high when
there’s so much air above your wings?”And that’s what SOAR Summits are about! SOAR high like the eagle. Rise. Dream. Fly-You my beautiful friend can do it!
“Jo and the story she chose to share with us, was nothing short of inspiring, she is one special lady the epitome of get knocked down once stand up stronger - beautiful inside and out! I love Jo’s brand (not just because it’s alcohol lol) but the message she is delivering to people, that they are valuable and they matter is kind and special.” Julie (Scotland)
“She truly demonstrates resilience and perseverance. She also has a lot of passion in everything that she does and puts her whole heart into everything and everyone.” Anne (USA)
“Jo and I have been each other’s cheerleaders for the biggest parts of our lives, our stories running parallel with making bold choices, moving to other countries to turn our ideas into reality, boldly following our paths no matter what. Through so many twists and turns, tears and pure joy, almost giving up, but pushing each other forward, we have an unwavering belief in each others paths, journeys and selves. We will not be stopped; we have BIG work to do – BIG for the benefit of others and strongly hold that no matter what. I love that Jo and I walk this path. Jo epitomises what it truly means to Breakthrough the Barriers to SOAR High! Tania (Europe/NZ/UK)

In this session Rob will show you how to create a new roadmap, whilst coming out of trauma in the most positive way. You will discover new things about yourself which you can use to take you forward.
"I believe that every person holds the power to rise above their pain and rediscover their inner strength, and I’m passionate about helping others unlock that transformative potential within themselves."
"For over 20 years, I have been deeply committed to guiding
individuals through the complexities of trauma and life challenges, helping them rise above pain and rediscover their strength. My journey hasn’t been an easy one—I’ve personally faced numerous traumas, from grief and loss to experiences of abuse, and yet, each challenge has shaped the empathetic, heart-centred coach I am today. Through investing in my own healing and growth, I’ve
uncovered the tools that not only helped me but have also allowed me to walk alongside others on their path to transformation.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in diverse areas including
grief counselling, addiction recovery, and supporting survivors of rape and sexual abuse. I’ve also helped individuals navigate autism, learning difficulties, and workplace mental health challenges, as well as guided them to discover their passions and build meaningful careers. My approach is rooted in honesty, connection, and empowerment. I believe in creating a space where people feel safe to share their truths, explore their potential, and take courageous steps toward breakthroughs.
One of the most powerful lessons I’ve learned is that
healing isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. It’s about picking out the pieces that resonate with you, embracing what works, and leaving room to discover the rest as you go. For me and many I’ve worked with, running, hiking, and exploring new places have been transformative tools for growth and resilience. Movement and adventure offer not only clarity and healing but also a chance to
connect deeply with yourself and the world around you.
My passion for discovery has led me to live and work across
Asia, where I’ve taught, coached, and immersed myself in diverse cultures and communities. These experiences have deepened my understanding of human connection and the power of stepping outside your comfort zone to find healing and purpose. Whether it’s through nature, adventure, or meaningful conversations, I believe in helping people create their own unique paths to
growth and transformation."
"Working with Rob Renwick has been an incredibly positive experience. Rob helped me feel good about myself again during a time when I had lost confidence and direction. His support, encouragement, and practical guidance helped me make real breakthroughs. I’ve learned to believe in myself and not let others’ negativity bring me down. Thanks to Rob, I now feel more empowered to move forward with clarity and self-assurance. I’m so grateful for everything he’s done for me." Marie (Wales)
“Rob has such depth of life experience and wisdom that he brings into everything he does. Coupled with his heart, empathy, honesty and experiences in jobs, services and situations around the world, his global adventurer-lover shines through and touches all that he comes into contact with. His rich travel experiences and openness to other cultures, countries, lifestyles and understanding of others, brings such a unique connection to people. Rob is one of these people who fills a room with his energy and depths. I feel really lucky to have Rob inspiring others, including myself.” Tania (Europe/UK/NZ)

In this session, Ruth will share with you the strategies that busy people can use to integrate their professional work commitments with family or other responsibilities and their self-care needs so that they experience harmony and balance in their lives. This is for those that put themselves last or not at all…
“My mission is to inspire women to embrace a well-integrated life, where success is sustainable and well-being is never compromised; to reduce stress and overwhelm, foster meaningful connections, and empower women to thrive as leaders, caregivers, and individuals."
Hi everyone! I am a retired social worker and now a trained life coach. I work with professional women juggling busy jobs with demanding family responsibilities ranging from taking care of their families, school runs, homework, extra-curricular activities, self-care, health, and more… In today’s world there are so many new things vying for our attention and taking up our time.
From my own experience when I used to work full-time as a Social Worker for Children and Families, I know what it feels like working until late in the evening while your children are still young and you have to leave them with a child-minder all day long, pick them up at 8 pm and when you get home have so many things to do such as feed the children, do the homework, get them ready for bed, pack the things they require for the following day, etc. Then sit down to type a report that is needed first thing the following day. I struggled with guilt most of my life when my children were young while I worked. I did not know how to integrate my busy professional responsibilities with my family responsibilities and self-care was not even on the cards!
I suffered from stress which led me to develop high blood pressure, acne, and emotional turmoil (I cried easily and experienced frequent moments of guilt). Although at the time, I quite often felt like resigning from my job and just being a full-time housewife/mum; I could not because I needed to earn money to support my family. So, I persevered and continued to be overworked, stressed, and without any harmony in my life.
It was in 2022 after I retired in December 2021 that I decided to train as a Coach. After training, I decided that I wanted to support professional women who are experiencing what I experienced over 30 years ago when I worked full time and I had young children and create strategies and systems to make their lives easier.
I developed the 5 Pillars for work/life mastery. In each Pillar, there are strategies to Discover Core Values, strengths/skills, support network, and more. In the Decide Pillar, there are strategies that will help you make well-informed decisions (good decisions). In the Discuss Pillar, you identify the key people you need to discuss important things both at work and home and with those they need for their personal care needs. In the Develop Pillar, you identify areas to develop your skills further both at work, parenting skills, and skills for family responsibilities e.g. meal preparation that is efficient and quick. You also learn skills to develop good relationships at work, at home, with friends and family, and their self-care buddies. Finally, in the Delegate Pillar, you will learn how to delegate some of your responsibilities to others efficiently and effectively both at work and at home, without guilt, and how to rephrase ‘delegation’ as a tool to support you and create the space required for the important things in your life goals, dreams, and vision.
For SOAR Summit Scotland, I will share some of these strategies and tools with attendees. Here are what some of my clients say.
“I work on the frontline of a refugee camp in Uganda. There are just 2 of us covering thousands of refugees (men, women and children) displaced. The atrocities that happen to women and children here are beyond your imagination. We try to help them all the best that we can but abuse, rape, violence, and harm happen all the time. Ruth helped me process these atrocities and find balance in a very stressful professional life, home life, and the demands of each. She empowered me to Discuss with key people in the Camp how we were feeling, how we could protect women and children from the abuse they were experiencing from men in the Camp. Discussing issues helped us make decisions that were effective and helpful to those concerned. Now I am using the strategies I learned from Ruth to help me through challenging days and help others too. Ruth’s work is real and life-altering. Our lives here are hard and at times unforgiving on a daily basis. Being able to have the support of Ruth has been a saving grace.” Natasha (Uganda)
“I am Nancy, a busy social worker with three young children aged: 1, 4, and 6. My one-year-old goes to a Baby Minder and spends the whole day with her. My 4 and 6-year-old go to a nearby Primary School which has a Nursery attached to it. My Baby Minder picks them up from school at 3 p.m. and looks after them until I pick them up in the evening. When I came to see Ruth, I was very stressed and anxious. The coaching sessions helped me clarify my core values and priorities in my life and I discovered ways I could actually work from home twice a week. I also learned how to make effective decisions, discuss important things with my boss and colleagues, and share ideas about how we could support each other. I was able to plan my own development by identifying areas where I wanted to develop my skills and commit to taking action in those areas. One of my biggest realizations was that delegation was meant to support me and once I learned effective ways of delegating work to my colleagues, I had more time to do other important stuff. The Work-Life Mastery Programme helped me integrate my professional responsibilities with my family commitments and also have time for my personal self-care. I was so much happier.” Nancy (UK)
